EverNew Water-based Grain Spray is a water based texturing product designed to recreate natural grain and surface texture on repaired leather areas. It is used after filling to restore the appearance of factory finish, helping repairs blend seamlessly into the surrounding leather.

Directions

Spray from 20–30cm to create a fake grain over a smooth repair. It should be applied before the colour, however, it can be used at any stage and is sandable when dry.

Will this create a natural-looking grain or will the repair still be noticeable?

EverNew Water-Based Grain Spray is designed to break up flat repair areas and recreate a fine, natural grain pattern, helping repairs blend more seamlessly with surrounding leather. When applied correctly, it reduces the “patched” look and improves the overall realism of the finish before colour is applied.

Can the grain effect be adjusted or controlled depending on the repair area?

It should be blended in, light coats always work best. Applying too much creates a pool like finish not a grain effect.

Can the sprayed surface be sanded?

Once dried, it can be sanded to create a nice touch.
