When should I use a solvent-based primer instead of a standard or aerosol primer?

EverNew Solvent Primer is best used when maximum adhesion is required, particularly on difficult or low-energy surfaces such as vinyl and PU. Its stronger solvent base allows it to key into the substrate more aggressively, making it ideal for demanding repairs where standard primers may not provide sufficient bonding.

Will this aggressively etch or affect delicate leather surfaces if over-applied?

It is designed to adhere to base and topcoats. It works great on all substrates including vinyl and PU substrates.

What safety precautions or PPE should be used when applying this primer?

We recommend using gloves, goggles and mask.
