Directions

After completing the leather repair and recolouring process, apply EverNew Topcoats by spray gun or application sponge.

Apply two light coats rather than one heavy coat.
Allow the first coat to dry before applying the second.
The topcoat protects the leather, determines the final gloss level and leaves a silky patina.

Coverage varies depending on the application method, gloss level and leather substrate. Spray application generally provides the most consistent coverage. Multiple light coats are recommended for optimum protection and finish.

Will a water-based topcoat provide the same level of durability as solvent-based options?

EverNew Water-Based Topcoats are formulated to deliver a tough, flexible protective finish suitable for most leather applications. When applied in light, even layers, they provide excellent wear resistance while maintaining flexibility, helping prevent cracking and ensuring long-term performance.

Is applying two light coats significantly better than one heavier coat?

Heavy coats can create issues such as runs and a milky appearance. Two light coats is always recommended.
